There are lot of people who have studied at S.P.U. College, Falna and stayed at Shri Namdev Chhatravas. I was also a part of the same institution and proud of being so. I finished my B. Com in 1986 and stayed in Chhatravas in 1983-84 and for other years too I used to stay there occassionally. I am sure there must be lot of people of our community who have stayed at Shri Namdev Chhatravas, Falna but settled at different places and do not get chance to meet/talk to their old friends either due to not knowing their whereabouts or lack of contact details. However, everybody in their heart want to re-unite with old friends and refresh their old memories. If you are interested in re-association with your old friends I would request you to introduce yourself here with a brief note about yourself, your contact details, email, telephone nos. etc. Even if you have not studied at Falna, don't worry, you can still put up your details here. Yeh degee lelo, yeh naukari bhi lelo,
Bhale cheen lo mujse foreign ka visa,
Magar mujhe lauta do, vo hostel ke din,
Vo nal ka direc paani vo moti/neka ki rotiya,
Vo subah ki dhoop mein hostel se nikalnaa,
Vo pass booko ki khatir pure falna mein bhatakana,
Vo lecture mein dosto ki proxy ka laganaa,
Vo sir ko chidhana, vo back door se nikal jana,
Vo exam ki raato mein jagana, jaganaa,
Vo dusro ke answer ko apana banana,
Vo raat mein station ki chaay ka tadka lagana,
Vo “Adarsh’ ka dudh aur laari ke khajur ka khana,
Vo “shankersingh” ka station se pedo ka lana,
Vo Aapas mein mil baithkar khana khilana,
Vo sab tha khana khajana, yaani ki baap ke paise ko udanaa,
Par exam ka tha bhay, phir vo padhana, padhanaa,
Vo “Basti” ka sona aur “Jeeva” ka uthana,
Vo “Amrit aur Suresh” ka padhana aur “Inder” ka aaram pharmana,
Vo exam ke din ka baichein mahaul,
Per maa ka visvas aur lecturer ka bharosaa,
Vo hostel ke maidan me gappe ladanaa,
Vo raat me deewar pe baithkar us paar giranaa,
Vo exam ke aakhiri din ko kailash cinema mein janaa,
Vo bhole se schooly chhatro ko thoda satanaa,
Vo diet ke paise bachane ko har shanivaar ghar ko jana,
Vo mess ke paise se kabhi-2 cinema ko janaa,
Vo exam ke vaqt scale pe thoda likhkar janaa,
Vo isi tarah examiner ko dena jhansaa,
Hostel ke dino ki ek purani yaade e nishani,
Vo hanumanji ke temple ko jana aur ladkiyo ko dekhana,
Vo warden ko patanaa aur special diet ka udanaa,
Vo chakkiyo ko chhupana aur chupke se khana,
Vo devda saab ka gussa aur aakhon ki laali,
Hostel ki vo lambi si raatein,
Vo dosto se maidan mein pyri si baatein,
Vo baanto – baanto mein ladnaa jhagadana,
Vo “Jeeva” ka patharro se barish kaa karna,
Vo Kuwe par aag ko lagakar, sabko daraana,
Vo khud chupchap tamasha dekhkar aaram se so janaa,
Bhulayen nahi bhulti vo Namdev chhatravas ki yadein,
Vo shararate vo shokhiyan vo jawani,
Kash ham phir dohra sakte vohi kahanee,
Vo kagaj ki kashti vo barsh ka paani.
